On behalf of the Committee I hope everyone had a Happy Christmas & New Year, now that it’s into January means that our first competitive event is only 3 weeks away.
Our 2023 calendar has been released (still in draft form), and event dates have been added to the website and to our Facebook page.
A draft calendar can be downloaded here.. THERE IS MORE WORK TO BE DONE on the calendar especially in relation to liaison with other clubs for potential Saturday Khanacross events. The committee will be looking at all options to try and enable us to host our Chris Cross Khanacross Series which has not been run since 2019.
Due to the closure of Wakefield Park, Sydney Motorsport Park has been inundated with requests for events. We were usually successful in gaining 4 skidpans, but this year we could only get 1 skidpan day event and 2-night skidpan events, along with 3 gravel events. That is the best that SMP could provide. Hopefully, we can pick up some additional competition or social events to fill some of the quiet months.
On behalf of the President and the whole committee can’t wait to see you all at our first competitive event on February 18th, which is a skidpan motorkhana at Sydney Motorsport Park.
